9/10 is absolutely genius. The joke itself doesn't even come anywhere near offensive, but it plays on the expectations of a jaded audience. It's basically metacommentary about offensive jokes turned into a pun. Brilliant.
What are you waffling on about
You sound like an art critic with a posh British accent
Vanoss?
@Y2KAh illiteracy strikes again
please don't ever stop with these
The man himself
Says the man who stopped 7 months ago 😭😭
Post more 😭😭😭
Yo
I would love to see your own interpretation of offensive bowling animations
The 300 one seems like it could become a legendary easter egg people come to the bowling alley to try to get.
People would flock to the rumor that if you bowl a perfect game, you'll get a secret cutscene
I went to my other account just so I can be like 300
They seriously try licensing that one to Big Bowling.
It's not even offensive
I was not expecting it to be as graphic as it was, but as long as there aren't young kids, should be fine.
@Creator Cuber Someone bowls a perfect game while there's a birthday party or school group at the bowling alley.
I personally feel that it was Niko who best encapsulated the concept of the assignment.
Agree. Jordan's is good, very good, but it touches the subject directly, while Niko's plays with the expectation in the viewer's mind. It is more creative and works on a visceral, rather than graphic, internal level.
Didn’t he make the assignment?
9/12 i agree
I love that... being offensive requires no art, being Slightly offensive requires art because you know where to draw the line in a fun way. The same principle can be applied to a lot of things.
Also I feel like this can apply to satirical humor as well. If you want to joke about something and call it satire, don't focus so hard on making it offensive that it outweighs any humorous aspects or any ability to spur discussion of or interest in an idea
Smallpox blanket jokes aren't slightly offensive, they are extremely offensive
@Jack Cooke I don't think these videos are for you my man
@LaterNerd I'm not saying I'm upset by it, it's just not really in the spirit of the game, just kinda lame
It also shows that the person is pretty aware of social norms and other people's comfort levels... as opposed to just being a morally shit human being who therefore would struggle more with being able to accurately locate that line.
Something that helps is the goofiness. Also only alluding to the thing if it's too much to show (9/11 one fits there). Also very important is to clearly indicate who the immoral characters are. With the bus one, there's drinking. With the blankets there's a mean thug look on their faces. Otherwise it can come across as laughing WITH the immoral characters in a cringe edgy teenager way.
The 'Spare'd' school one from the last video and 9/10 are definitely my favorite ones of these. Both are done so well and don't actually show anything bad, they take a moment to sink in.
Niko has definitely mastered the art of slightly offensive.
Petition to release Jordan's offensive cut from the first episode

I second this motion to the board.

@The O5 council my thogiht too and it has a 116 now
Niko's 9/10 just showed the importance of making a good joke, rather than just a joke. 9/11 jokes are easy and cheap and got very old, but this was incredible
Yo mama bin fartin
@Muh Election was stolen bin ladin ❌ bin fartin ✔
The 300 one was a beautiful cinematic piece, and a great pun, but nowhere near offensive lmao
It felt like a Robot Chicken sketch.
especially knowing the amount of people desensitized of gore now.
but it still is a cinematic masterpiece. if this one doesn’t get an oscar, nothing can
Yeah seriously. I kept thinking "this isn't offensive this is just awesome". If it weren't for the blood most people would be fine showing this to their kids (who would mostly like not get the reference).
I know for a fact there is a Greek writhing in pain from that.
9/10 is the best. Short, harsh, with unexpected twist - perfect. Niko is the winner.
I also liked the "300" animation concept, but it was waaaaaaay too long. It should have been 10 times shorter. Something like fast massacre with blood splatters and body parts flying like in the movie.
To be fair, since you only get '300' for a perfect game, it would fit with the length imho.
If it were for something less spectacular, then I do agree
The main thing is, most people are so desensitised to gore that it ain’t even slightly offensive.
@Nikodem Gwajyeah I thought the same thing. Gore isn’t sensitive in the internet age, and Thermopylae is too far removed from the modern day for anyone to be offended by it.
@Nikodem Gwaj Thats a good point because I literally thought "what's offensive about this." IMO its even less offensive since the gore is how the movie was as well.
Everybody talks about Nico’s animation but nobody talks about Jordan’s. That ending made me laugh so much
Same, I was wondering how he'd tie bowling into it and then I was in stitches. Bravo.
I still want to see Jordan's offensive one from the first episode, even though cutting to the audience and not showing what is was, is a complete masterpiece.
Nico wins this one. Turning subverted expectations into a punchline. 9/10.
I see what you did there
Definitely the best one..
Just saw it on instagram lol
I agree, he's got a bucket loaded full of talent, actually, it's more like a bin laden with talent, but I have to admit it was a quick judgement in his favor, almost feels like an inside job.
@Thr33D3vil LMAO
Niko's is by far the most clever. Literally nothing bad happens in it and it's still like OOOOHHHHH SHIT
As a Native American I thought the Turkey one was hilarious but the one that got me was the 9/10 one. My mouth was opened on that one! Haha! 😮😂
Niko, that deserves a standing ovation. It's all expectation without actually doing anything wrong at all. Genius. And Jordan's was so messed up but killed me too
Well done, gents. On the "300" one, I'm pretty sure the "Mamma!" cry is from the opening of "Saving Private Ryan," because it sure sounds like the guy who'd been hit and his guts had spilled out.
Ye the dday scene
The 300 Animation was absolutely beautiful. I've never seen something as majestic as that in my life. Great job Dean and everyone else at Corridor!
The 9/10 is brilliant, you've got the "wait, this is a 9/11 joke right, but where's the second pin?" the slow build-up, the anticlimax and then the pun tying it all together
Full-fledged humour, at last
cupriferouscatalyst3708, there's a bowling ball flying towards the Twin Pins
Osama ball Ladin
@Adamoska Official YT "Mr President, they hit the Pintegon."
@Tidy Funni
excited to see these a dozen more times as they get reposted onto every platform possible
first
The 9/10 one literally became a meme format immediately, that one was too good.
Niko set the bar WAY too high with that first one
This needs to be an ongoing series.
It should be like the VFX Artists React series.
10:37 As an indigenous person, I give Jordan's animation an 100/10
“I don’t mind human tragedy, as long as there’s a twist.” -Man’s last words
Like being run over by an ambulance or when a fire truck catches fire
but here is the twist, it's his last words because he became a monk and he is not allowed to talk
Instead of the towers collapsing, we have them fly off into the sky and grow wings, becoming the plane.
@Red Wiltshire or a cop car gets graffiti.
Jordan goes for genocide every time.
I think Jordan really took Sam's advice to heart. The animation and sound effect of the Natives dying already took some edge off, but that punchline was *chef's kiss*
out of the only *one* art history class i have taken in college, i can tell you these are absolutely gorgeous and need to be in a museum. these perfectly capture the bizarreness of actual bowling animations and add a sprinkle of silly PG-13 comedy and amplifies the art!
I love how Wren is always just slightly uncomfortable
“I don’t mind human tragedy, as long as there’s a twist.” - ChatGPT once it takes over.
Saw jordons in the wild, was thrilled to know y’all were making more, these all rode the line so well
I think Niko's and Jordan's would be my pick in this episode. It was long overdue, we finally get a 9/11 joke and it was amazing. It didn't went over the line, it was perfect. The joke even landed, with "9/10".
hah, landed.
@mfaizsyahmi. at least this one landed and didn't crash...
should have been 9/10... try again tomorrow
@ThatGuy nah i think 9/10... spared wouldve been gold
@CanadianBluePantshoooly lmao
I want an uncut playlist of ALL of the bowling animations.
-(5:44) Almost a Strike
-(6:51) Don't Drink and Strike
-(8:26) Death from Aballve
-(10:37) Thankspining Day
We need more of these; they are too good
I wanted to see them go more in-depth on how they did the shots, thats always so fun to see and the payoff is even better that way
9/10 is easily the BEST animation one of you has ever come up with. Well f**king done!
The only thing really missing from the real bowling animations is the low framerate. At the bowling alley they're usually rendered at 10 fps or so
That’s true! Also sometimes horrible frame tearing.
And the first and last frames linger for a few seconds
I'm not sure if it's getting old or not but something about these bowling animations is always charming
Nico's is perfectly timed, perfect length, perfect pun. Just beautiful!
Am I the only one who felt the redemption arc for Jordan? I loved his prior entries (what I saw from them) but you can tell the angst over feeling like he came up short and tell he had so much riding on "Turkey" and you can just feel the relief when it was received well by the guys 🥲
Also I love not just the 9/10, but especially that flourish at the end of it wooshing back to the bowling lane from the cityscape. Very underrated.
Fake bowling alley animations are some of my most favorite videos in existence.
I would go bowling way more often if they had these on the screens
Niko's 9/10 animation was so good, the expectation and twist at the end was perfect, literally pull and release
Just like WTC7!
i found it in the wild
Being someone who works at a bowling alley I actively look forward to these. Have been looking into a way to make my own to put in our system now lol
I think it's sad that we live in a time where making jokes is worse than committing crimes.
During the 300 spartan pins one, during the genocide, I couldn't help but think "Our balls will blot out the sun!"
I haven't laughed so loudly and for so long in a while as much as I laughed on the 9/10 joke. Goddamn. It was good. My stomach hurts.
I love how this has sort of become like a yearly tradition
Nico is a master at show not tell with these. Which is perfect for riding that line
I think he's really good at specifically not showing, but trusting the audience to be smart enough that he doesn't have to show. He sets the scene, and lets the audience figure it out themselves. in contrast to the car one, where we see everything, and it's just kinda eh.
Niko is the master of these. Winning animation every time they’ve done this.
This is the best thing you guys have ever done.
The first one was the best. Great pun, had me rolling. The turkey joke was decent too.
I liked the part at 10:58
The 300 one was way more epic than offensive. Honestly great!
Niko has a talent for this. 9/11, bullying revenge, and fatal bird strikes were all perfectly executed somehow.
You guys are getting better at it. Finding the perfect amount of everything. Hope this is your most viewed content so we can have infinetl more of this. So great stuff.
I love these so so much, and clearly everyone else does too! It really popped off, just like the last one
I didn't know they have a sequel. But let's hope this viral sensation should turn into a series.
Or threequel
All clever and very well done. Personally liked Niko’s the best.
Dude, the 9/10 one was literally the one I was thinking of making right before it played.
Niko's animation regarding being ON the line... 10/10
nah it's 9/10
(i'm terribly sorry this is a very stupid and very obvious joke, you might've even hoped someone would reply with it, it's too much "on the surface", it's tasteless and i'm terribly sorry that was me who replied with it)
@ser_igelbro wrote an essay to apolagise lmao
they need to pay a bowling alley to use these animations
The limits for bowling alleys keep getting broken.
If I owned a bowling alley I would do everything to get these on the screens😂😂
Niko's subverts your expectations so expertly I'm genuinely amazed. 10/10
What they need to do is to rent out a bowling alley and play these animations😂
these are insanely good. Laugh out loud is not needed for them to be perfect examples of the craft. True art.
If I'm ever rich, I will have a couple private lanes in my home, and you guys will be commissioned to make all the animations.
good luck javier
I definitely want more of this lol
You guys are getting better at these; nice work!
I think a DDAY Uboat of pins with a German MG gunner bowling ball would’ve been the perfect strike scene recreation of saving private Ryan 😂
Finally, the long awaited sequel
every time they do another one of these I have to go back and watch the team react to Jordan's animation in the first video. Nothing will ever be funnier than the blend of horror and amusement in everyones faces. Anyway, release the Jordan cut already
The 300 one was hilarious, imagine sitting there for several minutes while this intense movie plays out lol
This series has been such a joy to watch😂😂🎉🎉
its official you guys need to start a bowling alley called corridors and create all your own animations for the frames.
They need to put every animation somewhere, even the ones they can’t show on ESclips
The 9/10 is so amazing. I really hope he continues working on it and refining it lmao.
I honestly would love to see this become a regular occurrence now and then. 9/10 split was perfect.
I love this idea. More stuff like this that showcases your guy's comedic talent would be great.
*Skill
@LonelyLama I see why your name starts with Lonely. You really just go around randomly correcting people who don't need correcting. Fascinating
@Psyched.Shelby There's a big difference between skill and talent. Skill is something you obtain by working or practicing something, talent is something you are born with that takes no work. These guys have been practicing comedy for a long time, therefore, it would be false to use "Talent" in the sentence. Also, instead of attacking what I said, you attacked me as a person, which I see as unnecessary.
@LonelyLama shut that
@Ronan Madden As I stated in my earlier comment, no need to be toxic, I've found that toxicity has very rarely led to anything good.
You guys really should keep making these so that one day a bowling alley can have these on their monitors
I would ABSOLUTELY love to see them reanimate the CGI in Big Trouble in Little China
6:05 is a great example of a "too funny to laugh" moment
Wait, you did that legendary bowling alley spare animation? Legends!
this series is a deconstruction of dark humor and i love it
I love this series, I’m always so happy to see not only offensive bowling vids but also the satisfying videos
Wow, even the O5 council approves.
@Iain Carreck it's pretty crazy I really did not expect The O5 council to complement corridor! Small world
@Iain Carreck comment so great that he responds
Even though it wasn't offensive, i think the 300 one was my favorite. I was laughing way too much!
Niko has always nailed this challenge. I personally feel like he always wins
It warms my heart that these are still going 💪
it's really interesting to see jordan become the main character of corridor lol
This is the most entertaining video type on this channel. Offensive jokes are the absolute best.
"We can put company resources to something better"
Ha, nope. These are the best. Give me more bowling animations!
Nico's was the best. didn't even have to show anything crazy on the screen but all the drama just happens in your head.
Absolutely nailed the 300 aesthetic
That group hand thing (does that have a name?)with bowling noises was a nice touch.
Niko is absolutely UNBEATABLE.
There needs to be a buffalo bill bowling animation. Maybe the ball is dancing and the pin is in the pit for a spare?
I always love seeing these pop up in other corners of social media all the time with no credit back to you guys as the creators
seeing memes about the "Boston Dynamics Robot Soldier" led me to finding out about Corridor, so I can't really complain.
@Mercenary Chef Well, that was probably because someone else did the uploader's job of giving credit, meaning there was a relatively noticeable form of credit. Usually they go entirely uncredited.
I have not said "Oh my God" with so much emotion in a long time. Good work, gents!
The 300 is honestly the best, I loved it.
Love the videos, man. Keep it up!!!
I've been seeing these all over and loved them, I had no idea y'all were the ones to do it. I missed that video.
