I was the artist who designed tearing on the original Avengers’ Hulk @ ILM. We actually used hair to simulate the threads, and designed a new physics constraint to let us tear cloth just for this. Took 4-5 months to get the tech working well. Love this video, really fun and nice work ❤️

Jordan has quickly become one of my favorite Corridor Crew members, which is surprising since he's still relatively new, or at least not part of the OG group. Not only is he super talented at all of the VFX stuff, but he's also so darn funny and dynamic on camera and his ideas are always so creative. First he had the awesome trick shots videos with Jake, and now they're letting him solely commandeer his own video project, which really shows how valuable this guy is to this channel. And everyone really seems to love him. I dare say he's filling the void that Clint left.

It's always a blast when Jordan heads a video because whether or not it's good (it always is), there's always the chance that whatever he does will instantly end Corridor Crew's career forever.

Y'know it's weird, everytime I see a video made by Jordan, for some reason my brain decides it's best if I repress the memory.

As much as I like what they did here, They did ONE CRUCIAL MISTAKE in their last simulation. The size of the spandex underpants is too small and therefore what we see here, is not an accurate representation at all. In the movies, as well as the Disney+ shoes, Bruce has underpants that are way bigger than in his normal form which therefore allows for more stretching.

Jordan is one of the greatest additions to the team. His humour is unmathched and he sure is very skilled at what he does.

Fabrics guy here,
Spandex/Lycra will definitely expand significantly. The issue would be the abrasion and punctures it takes on the fights.
So, maybe some undies made of a few stretch panels in areas like crotch and waist, with a diamond gusset. Then the rest of the undies would be made of 1000 denier Nylon Cordura, woven with some UHMWPE fibres, bonded with a Dyneema laminate and Kevlar for puncture resistance.
They would be the least breathable, most irritating pair of underwear. But highly resistant!

You forgot to test the opacity of the fabrics. In your real-world testing you can see that even though the spandex holds up to a hulk-out, it gets dangerously close to being transparent. Let's hope Bruce worked this into his methodology. 🤣🤣
